This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in Omhule ("the App").

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Omhule does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the core features of the App.

2. Data We Collect Automatically (Telemetry & Diagnostics)

To improve the stability and performance of the App, we use Google Firebase services to collect anonymous telemetry and diagnostic data:

• Crashlytics: If the App crashes, a crash report is sent to help us identify and fix the issue. This report includes diagnostic information such as your device model, operating system version, and the state of the App at the time of the crash.
• Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data (such as when a quote is shared or when Text-to-Speech is triggered) to understand how the App is being used and to improve the user experience.
• Performance Monitoring: We monitor the performance of network requests (such as our Text-to-Speech backend) to ensure the App responds quickly.

This data is completely anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

3. Cloud Services (Text-to-Speech & Quotes)

The App relies on backend services to provide daily quotes and high-quality Text-to-Speech (TTS) audio. When you use the TTS feature, the App sends a request to our Google Cloud Functions to synthesize the audio. The text of the quote is processed, but no personal data is transmitted alongside it. The synthesized audio is cached temporarily for performance but is not permanently stored or associated with any user.

4. Device Permissions

The App may request certain permissions on your device to function properly:

• Notifications: The App uses local device scheduling to send daily quote reminders. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device; no remote server tracks your notification schedule.
• Storage (Photos/Media): When you choose to save or share a quote image, the App requires permission to save the image to your device's photo gallery. We do not read or access any other files on your device.
• Internet Access: Required to fetch the latest quotes, synthesize TTS audio, and securely log anonymous crash reports.

5. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
